The colour of the moment in the interiors world is Grey and all shades of Grey. The Tate collection of occasional pieces has been designed to address this trend whether to maintain a monochrome scheme or as an addition to a current scheme that needs a little updating. Strong metal framing has been used on all pieces with a grey stained solid mango wood to form each piece. Mango wood is a sustainable durable wood, most of it comes from Mango farms where the trees are too old to bare fruit so it is an ecological way to utilise the unwanted trees. Detailing has been added to the doors and drawers which are finished off with discreet metal handles to give that added piece of interest and design flair.
